Willie Croft has electified the 410 winged sprint car community in the California area. This driver who is in his first full year of traveling with the Golden State Challenge King of California Series has performed remarkable. Running consitant week after week, and also be a competitor when showing up in Chico for the Friday night races. I thought it was cool to see the McMillans give Willie the opportunity to drive for them. And he did not disappoint in his first start with this team. Out the box he sets quick time with over 35 winged 410 sprints, including most of the top runners with the GSC. And the very next night he wins the race. This is what the McMillans show up for. To win races and set track record, or at least be quick time. Jason Statler didnt produce much of anything behind the wheel of the same car. He did get one win, but this took all the way till Memorial Day weekend, and half the feild running out of fuel. I like seeing Willies talents not go un-noticed. It might be hard to kick him out now the man is on a roll. Keep up the great driving Willie!

sidewayz, old pal...don't go slamming Jason Statler till you have the whole story.
He was lied to and lied about. Maybe you should talk to him directly
and see the other side of the story. By the way that was Willie's
car with Rolfes bodywork.

So you are going to tell me that his car, doesnt come with the TEAM? Willie is a driver, he needs a mechanic. Something he has now. Statler, hell ive been around racing for a while now, he had the car, he had the team, I am not knockin Statler at all, he is a former KING OF CALIFORNIA, he has skills. I was simply stating what is true. Did he win that race at stoga by default of everyone having trouble? Yes, I was there. I am simply stating what this sport is known for, what have you done for me recently. I was expecting big things from Statler in that car. But it didnt materialize quick enough. When talk smack of another driver, it will be obvious. Statler in my book, i may not root for him, be he has talent. NO QUESTION. Have a good one pops!

Willie ran a good race and deserved the win. He has been fast all year. Rick Hirst was working on the car at Quincy as he has all year. I think this is what has allowed Willie to be so consistent. Hopefully he can score a few more before the year is over.
I wont get in to the comments on Statler. I don't think the Big Guy needs me to defend him. But sidewayz, I don't think you have the whole story. Or even half of it.

1,2,3 turn is helping him out!Thats cool! Thats a good look carwashmike. These mechanics are just as important as the driver. Mentioning the mechanics names are something that us local dirt tracks can take from the Nascar boys, they always mention who calls their shots, and tunes the ride.

I am just stating what Rolfe told me in person @ the pit gate on Friday night stating that Tim would be there in Chico the 29th. Then asked if he had called John and he has not. and yep the kit might come in handy.

i am not implying that tim will or will not drive the car. just that while we were getting ready for dirt cup jason was telling me rolfe told him he still wanted to help him and he was not fired. then just a short time later tom was on the phone with my boss telling him how he was going after tim.i hate to say things like that on here but jason puts all he has into his racing. so for some one to say willie whent out and rocked with the same car gets me upset. as far as i know the #10 bodywork got put on the #29 car and the car was run by willie's crew. if they would have put the #10 body on BK's car and billy and the hogs would have done their normal deal would you say brent kicked ass in jasons car? willie has been hot all year. why should things change just because the body did. congrats to willie by the way.

Im a huge BK fan. So if BK was to get into anyones car... he would drive it better than a traveling 410 driver had driven it all year. So you all make it sound like McMillans aint towing anything, aint paying fuel bills, hell why they even show up? Tom Rolfe, is he the owner... uh...no... People are funny... Just like Tyler Walker was going to be in the dirt cup.... RIGHT......

Anybody know who this guy is? (sidewayz that is) Pops is Bob Statler. Carwash Mike is Mike Avila. Savage Bad Monkey - needs no introduction. Ca.Nana is Robbie Padjen. Dnsprint 2000 at least gave his first name. Most everybody knows who team wright-one is and my name is Chris Lovett. My point is this: You talk up Willie and that is fine - he is a good driver. Then you make inaccurate statements about Jason Statler's (his statistics in that car DO NOT support what you are saying) record in the 10 car. Your next set of comments better include your name or you're just another anonymous keyboard troll who needs to either stay in your hole and nock it off or STEP UP by identifying yourself.

we are talking about one week end of racing here. fabricated as such so the 10 car would not loose owner points in GSC. nothing wrong with that. that does not imply how that team will operate in the future.i am sure they will go back to their normal operations. i am guessing they needed to do what they did to give them time to put all the pieces in place to continue on. and good luck to them. the series needs all the teams they can get and no doubt the 10 will continue to be a top team. but all of that has nothing to do with the post stating that willie kicked but in the same car that jason was in. and your statement about BK getting into anyones car and driving it better seems to show you did not catch on or did not believe what was said about it NOT being the same car. to my knowlage no one got into anyones car last weekend as far as this discussion goes. willie drove the same car he would have driven crewed by the same people that would have normaly helped him.( as is has been explained to me, so shut my mouth if i got it all wrong.) only the body and wings were changed to protect the... lol. again congrats to willie and hats off to the 10 team for finding a way to stay in the points. now i would venture to guess that mr. rolfe may have financed the racing week end for the team. and again, nothing wrong with that. no one has said the 10 team did nothing to help financially like you have eluded to reading into this. my pet peev on this was the statement eluding that willie made jason look bad in the same equipment when that was not correct. and sorry jason but if tk has his way and goes on a tear folks will be saying the same about that. about the dirt cup. don't forget ricky warner was supposed to be tylers crew chief ! well ricky ended up with a better offer and tyler ended up in the hospital. good luck to ricky and a hope for successful healing to tyler.

Not to be an arss but, your boss on the phone, yada, yada, yada.....Your boss isn't the most credible either and I will just leave it at that. I could get into phone calls and one owner one the phone with a driver and the other driver, yada, yada, yada. Willie was in his own car with the 10 shell on it and did a great job, Rolfe is who he is, Statler is going to be running this weekend. I also talked to him at Skagit and he will be fine. TK could also get the shaft, it wouldn't be the first time this season. It is what it is. Let's just go racing

i was in the office when the call was on the speaker and tom was telling rick he wanted to put tim in the car. that was shortly after jason told me that tom had said he was not fired. rick was telling tom what tim had expressed to him what it would take for him to get in tom's car. and tom accused rick of trying to negotiate for tim. rick told tom that was not the case at all he was mearly passing on to tom what tim had told him for what if anything it was worth. the 35 car had a revolving door on the cockpit too at times so we all know stuff can happen. but who do you think was among the first car owners tim got in touch with when he was looking for a new ride? if it were anyone but haud in the 35 car they may have been bounced. haud and bonz are more than employees they are family. oh, by the way my boss might not be the most credible that is why i posted what i heard myself. now the conversation between jason and tom? well jason is too big for me to be the one to tell him i doubt his credibility. but feel free.
nice chatting with you. we should do it again sometime. lol. no offence just me being a smart ass. we both know this season has been hard on a lot of us. good luck to tim. glad he has a ride. see you at the track

for those of you that did not get it the point was not a question about tim being in the car or really about tim at all. the point was rolfe telling jason he was not fired at the same time he was looking to put tim in the car.
