Wow that sounds like a pretty good idea but how far back are they talking about. Also are they talking about all the classes because if I remember right someone told me they once had a class called semi-late. Any idea what they're talking and what are some of the names of some of the past champions at these tracks.

The way I took it from talking too him, it goes back as far as 1900 if your that old and there was a racetrack down in that area. Also, any racer from any division that competed down in that area at any time and recognised if you won a championship in any division.
You might call him to varify.

Semi-Late in the early eighties was the same thing as the pro-stocks at OkC. They used to be called Hobby Stocks , then street stocks. Many Factory stocks today are on par with the semi-lates of the eighties.

These guys are putting it on. The guy in the cowboy hat is my hero. He waved me into the cruise around downtown Wichita Falls AND GUESS WHO I WAS BEHIND?!!!!! LlOYD RUBY in an Indy roadster as well as Bobby Unser in one too! I expected to be behind a golf cart picking up any trash left by spectators.lol They are expecting several cars this year that represent the good old days. Coupes, supers etc.

James Skinner, Steve Young, Ralph Parkinson, and Freddie Street I recognize. I know the other two were big because they were signing autographs too.
