It was nice to see some NY guys make the tow and those of us that were there saw a good show. A little dusty, but nothing compared to Black Rock on saturday night. Stands were about half full, pits were full. Fan count wasn't so bad considering there was a 410 race at Big D.
Suck it up, tough it out, be the best you can

There are no 360 Posse in central PA. 358s are in central PA and they can't run with the 360 ASCS. (they would woop em) Per Hahn. They do run with the URC and ESS 360s at special shows.
Pa Posse was developed for advertising for the races with the WOO many years ago and are the 410 drivers and car owners that run at Williams Grove, not everything under the sun as posters and Media claim.

Is the same Pa Posse that is used for advertising the same Posse that had their asses handed to them recently by the WoO?
Thanks for explaining hotlaps, I haven't been around very long and am kind of new to this stuff. j/k

If running up front every night is getting your ass handed to you what does the midwest contingent consider running 14th...lol?

They ran decent at the ONE and only track they can compete with the Outlaws at. They finished 18th at Lernerville, had one in the top 5 in Jersey and only had 6 cars even make the show at Grandview, some things never change for the most over-rated group of locals in the country when facing the best racers in the country. I think the logo One Track Wonders makes more sense than PA Posse coz' they sure don't do what a Posse does, leave the porch and chase the bad guys. Take It Easy.....

I'm about to paste and copy something that MSPN will highly appreciate. As in many ways will just further his points.

nevermind wouldn't let me do it. But here's what anyone interested can do. Go to ascsracing.com and go to the Sooner Region section. View the the Sooner Region All-Time Win list. Ironically, you will see that the lil ol' ASCS Sooner Region has been more of a proving ground to the WoO---and other TOURING series-- than Central PA.

All of those guys (Wright, Rilat, Chappell, Wayne & Jason Johnson, Martin among others) are great racers, but why compare them to Lance DeWease, Fred Rahmer, Mark Smith, etc?????
410 racing is dead in TX and OK, has been for a while... so those guys HAD to hit the road if they wanted to earn a living driving a sprint car. The guys from Central PA have never had that problem. A few of them have hit the road anyways, (Cris Eash & Stevie Smith... Bobby Allen & Craig Keel), but as all the PA fans know, there are 100+ shows a year to run all within an hour or so of their shops. If they wanted to live exclusively out of suitcase, become distant with their immediate family, and rack up a huge diesel bill, I'm sure they'd hit the road and try (try) to earn as much money that's available right there at home. Though I wish I could see more of them when I go to the Royal in July, I don't blame them for liking their jobs, their family, and sleeping in their own bed on a regular basis while still earning some pretty good coin.

Most would go broke on the road and some have already done so. Just don't tell me the best racers live on the porch coz' they don't, they travel and pound those that do, even in PA. Chilly, they used to go to the Kings Royal but after a fluke win and many C and B Mains they gave it up and stayed home, a wise decision. Take It Easy....

with fuel prices and the field that is traveling...it costs way more to run 12th on the tour this year than any in recent memory. quite possible that some teams are already into the July budget...

Everyone can understand the staying close to home bit, and make as much money at home bit as well. However, what happened to the days when you went out to try and prove yourself against the best? The kid (usually) who dreams of being the best and beating the best..... not at one track or a few select tracks, but across the country? Not posse bashing here; just raising a point. Hopefully some day we'll see another fresh face with proper funding (very important), come out and be competitive night in and night out with the WoO.

How about how many 410 teams are there in the country ?? If there are so many that need to prove their selves why don't we have 100 teams at every WOO show trying to prove theirselves.?? There are more $5000 + to win shows in central PA then anywhere in the country.

Anywhere in the country doesn't have a group of people boasting about how good their drivers are. No need to get worked up about what I said....I say PA does have the largest number of the best local racers.....LOCAL, and local racing in the country BY FAR. I'm not seeing a FOAW anywhere in the bunch though. 3 or 4 teams tops are completely capable of winning with the Outlaws, and that's only at about 1 or 2 tracks at most. Sure, you'll have the fluke here and there that wins, but it's just that, a fluke. If you're claiming to be a FOAW, then you've gotta travel to do it.....just my opinion. I'd love to see some of those guys travel....I get to see them one time a year and that's at Knoxville. Maybe one of these days I'll take myself a nice long vacation to the land of posse and get to see some of these guys race first hand. It would be fun. You're all very lucky to have that kind of a local scene...and I'm sure most of the rest of the sprint car racing world is jealous in many ways.
