A couple people that went out to the accident site said he was moving his arms and legs so that's a good sign. Good thoughts going Ed's way, hate seeing stuff like this.
For those that weren't there, official Ed Kinkle was hit by a car in the infield during the main event. He was taken to the hospital and they said they'd update when they get new info.

Hi all...I arrived at the enloe emergency room at 11:59 pm to check on our official Ed, who was inadvertently struck by a sprint car in the infield of the main event. I am happy to report just two minutes later Ed walked out from the room under his own power and we talked for a good five minutes. He is beat up a little in the face, but all in all, he feels pretty good. No broken bones. He was even already focused on getting to Placerville for the Saturday night show. I am sure we will all see him back at Chico this upcoming friday night...

Every photographer's worse nightmare and probably every infield worker's too - happy to hear this one ended well.

Scarry stuff.... I was at petaluma when "roll-over" Randy passed, and am haunted to this day by that memory. Glad to hear Ed is well, OFFICIALS ARE THE ONLY GUYS WITH BIGGER BALLS THAN SPRINTCAR DRIVERS!!
