Hello. I'm heading to Sydney from Boston. Could someone please let me know if there is some Sprint Car racing in the greater Sydney area on Sat, March 3rd. Thanks for the help.

No sprintcars in Sydney on March the 3rd. Only midgets and AMCAs. Sprinters back the following Saturday.

Thank you Andre. Are there any other tracks within a reasonable distance from Sydney on the 3rd? I race a 360 back here in the states and would love to find some sprinters. If not, I know the midgets can haul it too Jeff

Not within a reasonable drive from Sydney. Closest
sprintcar race I see is at Moama, but that isnt anywhere close to Sydney.
Really all the big names will be on the other side of the country at the Krikke Boys race at Bunbury.
Just go to Parramatta and watch the midgets. They put on a good show there.
PS Boston to Sydney is a long ass flight. Dont know whats worse, the flight,or waiting in the airports between flights.

I agree....I'll be there watchin' the midgets and lovin' it. Thanks for the guidance. Not looking forward to the hang time in the air-tube. However, as the company I work for is paying the air ticket, I'll do a week of work and then ram around that part of the globe for a week or so afterwards. All suggestions on the cool 'local' establishments/sights in Sydney would be appreciated. I appreciate the input and look forward to catching some dirt in the face at the track....steller! Jeff

If your still there for the 10th of March then 60+ 410's will be at Parramatta for the 18th round of the track championship. Just a local points race but the highest 410 car count in the world is worth a look at.

If its in the cards,do what SteveV suggests, and go
again to PCR for the sprintcars.Amazing that the largest weekly 410 car
count is around the world from the USA.
Maybe some of the Hosers from Au. can point you in
the right direction for local entertainment. Its been ages since I have
been to Australia, and my favorite touristy places are in Victoria and
South Australia. For sure you gotta see the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge. Maybe Oscar or Stubb can tell you where the best pubs are at.
I'm still waiting to see if this is gonna be the yr that SteveV comes to the USA for a visit. Its never to early to start making plans!

Always happy to look after a fellow speedway fan who ventures out this way.
On either date for Parramatta give us a call on (0)419 264159 and we'll meet up somewhere.
