Good job guys.

By far the best feature I have seen at Jackson...there was actually passing. I am wondering though why they ran the JSTS heats before the IMCA and 305's? Was this a lame attempt to keep some of the locals in the A? Absolutely NO passing in all the heats.

I think I read at "Pushin" that Brian tangled with another car in his heat.

Didn't see anything about him after that.

Can someone elaborate on Brian "I'll take your Red Bull" Brown?! Smile Wink

Thanks much.

They'll be coming our way in a few weeks. We're planning on camping out for the Richert Memoral so stop by after the races while the parking lot clears out. Better yet, bring your tent and camper and join us.

I hope Owners and Sponsors have been paying attention to what Wayne and Chirpy have been able to do with a very limited budget this year:

All Star (WoO) win in Florida

5 straight 360 wins (including 4 at Knoxville)

360 Nationals prelim win

360 Nationals Champion (2nd title)

Last to 4th in ToC

410 Nationals Prelim Win (beatin Lasoski, Kinser and many other big teams)

Qualified for his 6th straight Nationals A Main

18th to 1st in Jackson Nationals Prelim

and more to come......

on the sponsers note. ive noticed of all the races i've been to it's hard to find an announcer that will tell the crowd who the sponsers are when they intoduce a sponser. why is that does the track have a say in whether or not the annoucer says the sponsers or not or is it just the experience of the annoucer. i'd have to say johnny gibson and justin zoch are the best at saying the sponsers

I know Johnny and Justin really well, and I can tell you there's not an announcer in racing that does the research that these two do. Knowledge is what makes a good announcer, and most of them couldn't hold a mic for Johnny and Justin!

Good summary of the recent accomplishments, Savage. The list goes on and on and on. If he doesn't deserve/attract some serious sponsorship money after this year someone is missing a great opportunity to become involved with a top class team. He was working on his car at Jackson this weekend getting ready for the Saturday race. He shocked a few passerbys who stopped and commented that they didn't know he took such an active part in wrenching on the car. The reality is he does it all with Chirpies help.

Couldn't have said it better....

I think the ASCS deal next year will give him some spotlight...

Just gotta keep his foot on the loud pedal

Friday night was not his fault? Do tell how you came to that conclusion.

The Chiefs are looking for a punter, maybe Dave Glennon and Jordan Martens ( Saturday nights victim) would give him a recomendation.

I came to that conclusion because I WAS THERE and saw that the 5 car was all over the place! Brian tried to get around him high, low, middle, with each time the 5 nearly getting into him. People up in the stands were even saying the 5 was driving like he had a rear view mirror, no matter where Brian went, he would jump up to take the same line. Brian thought he had him in turn 3, dove down and whammo, EVEN THE ANNOUNCER SAID HE SEEN THAT ONE COMING! And that my friend, is how I came to that conclusion!!!

AGAIN congrats to Billy Alley and way to come back from friday night Brian Brown to get the runner up spot!!!! Great racing at Jackson!
