Yeah I'm finding that out. Bent the housing on my 9" & don't have another one lying around!!! And when it did it trashed my R & P too.

I know they have some ford 9" rearends there too so there is another option and just build it...

Andy, they're by Earlsboro, about half way between me and Seminole. If they've got that gear I can deliver it UPS (United Phil's Service). Even mud scrapers can make parts runs ROFLLLL !!!!
No car, just a race fan.

Sorry Andy, was not on yesterday, yes like Perry says ask for Willie or Jerry and they are located in Earlsboro, east of town off of HWY 9, they are in the country up the dirt road east and back north, off of HWY 9 there is a sign actually a car hood at the turn that says Willies Salvage turn left off of 9 follow the dirt road to the left go east about 1 mile and north a 1/2 mile, they can give ya directions too or try UPS from Tekboy...

Thanks Danny & Perry. I talked to Willie today & will go out there Sat. morning. He didn't have the gear but will try to find a 9" that will work!
Phil (UPS) is my pitman & lives in Shawnee so I'll drop by & let him do all the work! LOL j/k

Willie is very racer freindly. He'll be galds to help you out Andy. You couldn't ask for a better guy. Plan on shooting the breeze for a while if you go out there.
If you decide to rebuild the GM rear end, also. I'm pretty sure I can get the ring and pinion, new, I'd hook you up the best I could, also. Give you the special O'Reilly racers discount.

The 8.5 rearend is now for sale, has new bearings & seals to go with it. Even have the mini spool for it, the axles are drilled for 5/8 studs 5x5....$200 for all of it. Have a 12 bolt rearend housing also that fits an early Chevelle. $100
Danny, I found the housing today so when I go to Willie's, it will be for a pumpkin or 2 if the price is right!!! Thanks again.
