how come the usac midgets don't run a show with the usac/cra sprints anymore?

Only a guess, but i imagine the cost of paying two sanctioning fees has alot to do with it.

Car counts for the midgets are not what they had been either. When they were televising the shows out of Ventura, a car count of 40 was almost standard.
