He won a WoO race at Baylands(San Francisco Bay Area) around '82 and he was lightning FAST!

I remeber him leading another race at Baylands & the car wouldn't re-fire after a red....... remeber when the Outlaws used to go to the pits during reds? That was horrible....... took so LONG to restart the race...... I'm glad they 86ed that rule!

I remember a race at Ascot (year was about 1980), Ronnie was leading the main in the John Sironian "Western Mag Special" (which to this day has been the best looking paint job EVER) and the right wheel packed up with mud. There were a few laps to go and he would constantly come out of T-4 and bang the wheel into the wall to free the dirt. After doing this for a few laps, I'll be damned if he wasn't successful and won the race. That was too cool.

Great shot, Porsche Pete, to me Shuman's Offixco Stanton was one of the best looking WoO cars.

Gotta agree on the Western Mag car, the best paint job evah! (Corky's Paint as I remember)
