Hey Davy ... Here's some free advice. After a tough 2nd place finish and after hitting the scales, DO NOT go up to the stage podium without screaming at the track officials to "kiss your @ss" you "aint going nowhere." You went to the podium way to freely and without fanfare. (2) DO NOT smile and genuinely congratulate the winner for the photogs, looking so happy in the photos you would think you had WON not ran a tough second. (3) Losing in the last couple of corners is NEVER driver error it is ALWAYS a tire, mechanical, handling issue or a "horrible track tonight." (See WoO rulebook)  (4) After a tough loss go into your trailer and sulk then quietly slip away without signing any autographs or visiting with the fans. I realize your trailer small as it is and with two cars in it probably can't hold you. But you must find a way to VANISH. Work with these constructive criticism's and you could some day become a big STAR .!!!

I don't care who you are, that's funny.

Davey has got to learn to scowl and not look so darned nice if he wants to be an Outlaw someday.

Maybe I am missing the point of the post but he was praising the kid for being a good kid. He can't be a WoO racer someday unless he learns to cry and whine about everything. Just what I was getting out of it. Something a little different than the normal on here.

Great feature last night with both the winner (Skip Jackson) and the runnerup (Davey Heskin) both being true standup guys and gentlemen.

Congratulations to Skip on his (I believe) 25th career win at Knoxville and Davey for his continued growth as a driver.

Skip may not win as often as he once did, but that was a great determined drive to chase down Davey after he was passed earlier. Truly well deserved.

Davey came oh-so-close to getting two in a row but he'll win a bunch before he's done, at many tracks and against many different drivers.

The core of sprint car racing is strong with guys like these two (and many others) racing for the love of the sport. It is greatly appreciated.

I don't think Davey will ever get to the point that he is a rude, pouting, superstar. What he will be is an

outstanding, exciting sprint car star. I hope he never leaves the Knoxville weekly shows because he is such a thrill to watch and talk to after the races. His

Brother, his Dad, and the rest of his family are really great people. Hey, is it going to

be exciting to see what he does at the Nationals this year? He is a great qualifier and during the

Outlaw show here he came of age and held off Steve and Jason Meyers to finish second in his

heat and qualify for the dash. I am really looking forward to seeing him in August.

J.K. Yeah .... it was hard to decide who to cheer for .... the "Kid" or the "Cagey Veteran" ... either way it was a great last lap ..... Hell it was a great last 5 or 6 laps... like the announcer says .. "you paid for your whole seat, but you'll only need the edge."

mermaid & the rest ..... whew ... glad to see see you guys "get it" I will try to limit my scarcasm in the future.

Wow, someone must have been waiting at that little trailer for an autograph, only to be denied.
