TK and T-Dub (according to there websites) are scheduled for Antioch's GCS show this Saturday. IMHO the track is the worst run track in Cali but quite racey despite it. If that's where they are racing that's where I'll have to be watching them. Looks like Jonathan Allard may be running up north this weekend.
Hopefully the two worn out push trucks there don't tear up any Sprint Cars and the concesion stand has buns for there hotdogs!

I think JA will be back in time for this weekend because he is running for the GSC title! Right GT?Yeah Antioch isn't my favorite track, but I enjoy going to any sprint car race regardless of where it is. You never know what to expect at Antioch- sometimes its good sometimes it's not. The last two years I have won that RACEO (basically like Bingo) game and won free tickets to different events so I look forward to playing RACEO this weekend
Yeah between the cars going through the walls, push trucks running over cars, armed guards, checking your purse/bags for food, and issues at the consession stands its just one of those tracks, lol! I am trying to think positive about this weekend

Jonathan will be in Cali this weekend. He won't be giving up the GSC title with just four races left. lol
The schedule was made before the season and was based on where he was in points at this time. Last year he was out of the points chase so it gave him the chance to run the full Speedweek schedule.

The top 3 have been really fun to watch this year between JA, Walker, and Bud. These 3 are very consistantly in the top 10 every race and exciting to watch. I am sure if BK didn't miss those 2 races because of being in Knoxville he would be right up there also.

While Antioch isn't the best track, have you ever been to Petaluma Speedway?? Now that track is by far the worst track in Northern California. I do agree with the push truck thing at Antioch though...

Actually I really like going to Petaluma speedway. I usually go there 2 or 3 times a year for GSC and Civil War shows and most of the races I have seen there have been good with lots of passing. They usually have a racey track, it's not too far away, and they have good onion rings. Sure the place could be better and I can't hear the announcer, but I try to look at the positives in the tracks we still have in CA and be thankful I can still go to sprint car races!
Pitas: I see this is your first post Welcome to our Nor Cal board. Why don't you like Petaluma speedway?
BTW: StuDeedooo where are you?????

Wherever Al is I can assure you it's not too far from Morgan Hill. In fact probably not too far from the west side of 101 just south of the main str. overpass :-).....

Petaluma speedway use to be a somewhat, and i mean, a somewhat decent track. If you like tracks where the officials have a rule book but only use it when it benefits one of their "favorites", or basically only when they feel like it, and where the track is never groomed right and the prices keep increasing like crazy with the same smelly bathrooms that don't even have toilet seat covers for sanitary reasons, and so on then by all means enjoy petaluma!
I will however agree that the onion rings are delightful, thats about it This is just a personal observation/opinion Thanks for the welcome.
