Not really an upset as Bland has been running wild lately at all the local Indiana tracks. He is a good klid and very fast.

Yes really... It's defiantly not a stretch to call that win a "upset", not with the calibre of drivers that were there. This is what his web site had to say about it. http://www.jeffblandjr.com/

July 9, 2008 --- Jeff Bland Jr. of Springville, Ind. led the first seven and the last six laps to score an upset victory in Wednesday night’s 30-lap Chevy Powers “Indiana Sprint Week” feature at the Lawrenceburg Speedway. The win was his first ever in USAC National Sprint Car competition. He started on the pole but was running second to Robert Ballou on lap 25 when Jon Stanbrough blew a tire on the backstretch. During the yellow Ballou’s car developed a flat tire and he had to restart at the back of the field, putting Bland and his Servia Drywall/Servpro DRC/Chevy into the lead. He was trailed to the checkered flag by Levi Jones, Damion Gardner, Shane Cottle and Dave Darland. Chevy Powers “Indiana Sprint Week” continues Thursday night with the “Robbie Stanley Classic” at Lawrenceburg.
