Just wanted to let everyone know Doug Wolfgang and I have a couple of book signings coming up.
On Friday night July 11 we'll be at Gas City I-69 Speedway for the Indiana Sprint Week race. Not sure of the time, probably do something prior to hot laps and a couple of more times throughout the night. We'll have a table set up on the concourse behind the grandstands. Thanks to Jiggs Thomason of Gas City I-69 for inviting us.
On Saturday July 12 we'll be at Eldora Speedway for the Kings Royal. Doug is appearing at the Salute to the Kings reunion that day (open to the public at the Eldora Ballroom) and we'll do a book signing following the ceremony from 3 to 5 p.m. Thanks to Larry Boos of Eldora for inviting us. The reunion they're doing is very, very cool and it will be a neat thing to see some of those former winners again.
The second printing of Doug's book, Lone Wolf, just rolled
off the presses and we will have plenty of copies. The book was sold
out for a brief period and it's good to have some in stock again.
If you are unable to make either of those signings, you can order a book on-line at www.americanscenepress.com.
Come by and see us at Gas City or Eldora!

This is an excellent book and life story - whether or not you're a reader, whether or not you're an avid race fan. Highly recommended and very captivating. Other books, like Dialed In or Unfair Advantage are also good but not as good.
Now Dave, about your next book and subject..... Who and when?

Hey Dave, is it possible to get an autographed copy of the book sent to Australia?

Guys,
Dirtdevil: If Robby is at Husets, Doug will probably be there, too.
swensrod: I'm currently working on a book with Speedy Bill Smith of Speedway Motors. Hope to have it out late this year but we'll see. Thanks for asking.
SteveV: email me at da1@daveargabright.com.

YOU are the greatest Dave. Thanks for all your efforts in our sport.
The hopeless desire to outrun Bud Grimm's Fords is
why central PA became the toughest place to race on
the planet. Even the KING couldn't run with Casey
Luna's Fords on a tacky track. It's a crying shame
that current car owners failed to notice.

Thanks for the kind words, minthess and gearjammer. Much appreciated.
Forgot to mention this earlier, but I'll have a few Jimmy Wilson t-shirts (from Best of Times in Sprint Car & Midget Magazine) this weekend. If anyone is interested let me know.
Thanks and see everybody this weekend.

Great read, and luckily I was bright enough to pre-buy the book autographed.
Keep up the great work Dave!!!
Any plans on coming to Eagle sometime? Sure would like the chance to actually meet you in person.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

Jim, I doubt Doug has any books at his shop at this point, but after this weekend he might take some back with him. You might check with him next week.
Eagle, I'd love to get back out to your track. Back in the TNN days, we did a couple of races from there, and I fell in love with the place. It's racy, it's scenic, and it's got a great history. Maybe when we finish Speedy Bill's book, we could do a book signing at Eagle next year. That would be fun.
