Hey guys – I know a lot of you like to play cornhole, so I wanted to give you a heads up on our first attempt at what we hope will be an annual 'Kings Royal Cornhole' tournament at Eldora.

The cornhole tourney will kick off at 10:00 Friday morning (July 11) at the north end of the Speedway. Teams will be limited, so if you're interested, we would encourage you to sign up prior to that weekend. Complete details and entry form can be found at http://www.eldoraspeedway.com/media/Kings Royal Cornhole Tournament.pdf

Some other events of interest during KR week:

- Salute to the Kings: 25th Year Reunion will take place on Saturday afternoon in the Eldora Ballroom. The ceremony will kick off at noon with a luncheon, and will be followed by a ceremony involving all the former event winners. Tickets are $15.00 each and can be purchased by calling the track office (937.338.3815). For more information and a list of confirmed drivers, visit http://www.eldoraspeedway.com/pr/news600.html

- The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame auction takes place Saturday afternoon at 3:30 in the multi-purpose building (located outside of turn four). More information on this, including auction list, will be coming soon.

- Doug Wolfgang makes his return to Eldora Speedway and will not only be participating in the reunion ceremonies, but will also be doing a book signing with Dave Argabright on Saturday at 3:00 over near the site of the NSCHoF auction.

- 25th anniversary lap sponsorships are available for $50.00. All lap money collected goes straight to the purse, and will be distributed to drivers running 1-2-3 on the sponsored laps. See http://www.eldoraspeedway.com/krlapsponsor.html The head Hoser himself is proud sponsor of the halfway lap.

- The St Henry Nite Club will once again be providing its fleet of busses for rides from Eldora to Limaland on Thursday night for the Brad Doty Classic. Bus schedule will be posted later. More information can be obtained by calling the Nite Club at 419.678.2296

I called the St. Henry Nite Club and they don't have the price or departing times. Would be nice to plan ahead! That is a great deal, so hopefully it all comes together. Awesome to see tracks working together.

Upcoming Events:
October 18 - Dirt Track Word Championships - KC Raceway
October 30 - November 1 - World Finals - Charlotte

Stubb, I don't know if you could handle this cornhole game. I hear you are quite the indoor specialist, but word on the street is your outdoor skills aren't quite up to par with the big boys...

And what about props... would you require a step ladder to throw from???

Hey Stubb! I'll see if I can dig up your address and send a couple of HoserVille hats for the winners. Lord knows I have experienced how little an Ohio bean bag tournament pays to win.
