Is Tim going to be hitting the road like his schedule says or is fuel prices keeping them on the West Coast?

He's listed as a entry for the whole Ohio Speedweek(from all-stars website). If so then you will definitely see him running throughout the mid-west for probably the rest of the summer i'm guessing........damn lucky guy's! At least i got to see him race out here for awhile though. And i'll see him at the Gold Cup and Trophy Cup and that's good enough for me.

Tim is going to be racing Dirt Cup at Skagit this year. I can honestly say with not only the gas prices but, losing a major sponsor has kinda changed up some of there schedule for the season.....I do know that the team will be hitting the road sometime in July or August.

Thanks for the Info. Do you know where he's racing this weekend? It would be awesome if he could race the non-wing USAC-CRA race at Santa Maria this Saturday. Anyway's it's a real bummer about the sponsorship deal. He deserves to be out racing across the country with the Outlaws and such.

Just checked. Flying J diesel is "only" $4.90 a gallon. That shouldn't keep them home!Wink

(but...that was at the station just north of Bakersfield)

Hopefully, they know their prices at home are most expensive! gasbuddy.com

There will be a lot of racing to be had. By my count, 16 nights in a row at at least $5K to win a night, if a guy does Ohio and PA Speedweeks...

I was hoping he would be packing his bags and head into Indiana to get fitted into the 20 car so he could show some real SMOKE.

I added him to the Speedweek entry list based on conversations early this season with his car owner and based on his schedule on his web site. However - I have not confirmed that he is or is not coming...I hope that he will make the trip. They bought an All Star membership in Feb with the intention of running Ohio Speedweek and Thunder Through the Plains.

Will TK and the McMillen team be at the WoO races at Pevely and Haubstadt next month? Doubtful that I can make Pevely. Have a friend's wedding (all the days to get married : ( ) to go to but I can hit Tri-State.

Funny, but sad. The kid's an incredible shoe, always fun to watch!

I sure enjoyed watching him run the 7T car a few years back, more so than anything he's done since...

Tim was pretty amazing in the 7t car and his career hasn't really gone anywhere since then........Especially the season that he was in the 11k car. WOW that one really sucked. You obviously have your opinion of what is what with Tim but, your comments are usually slanted and have nothing to do with racing. Since this is a racing site, why don't you try sticking to that subject and not inertject your personal stuff.....................Thanks and keep the peace

Tim had some damn good moments in the Roth car as well so I think Faster Pussy Cat must have taken a break from racing in that time frame. lol Smile

I love to watch Tim in any car he is in and anywhere he races! He always puts on a good show and is soo exciting to watch race. I feel lucky to get to see him race locally although I bet he probably wants to race with some of the other series around the country. I felt bad for him at Petaluma that something broke on his car and he wasn't about to finish the A main. Good luck to him wherever he races and he has many CA fans cheering for him in the stands Smile

Faster Pussycat: Why is it sad that Tim is racing at Chico and then going to Dirt Cup? There is some great racing here in CA and then of course Dirt Cup is a huge event with many teams coming from all over the U.S. I wish I could go someday Smile

I don't think Faster was saying that it's sad he's racing at Chico. IMO he's saying it's sad that their sponsorship has hit hard-times lately, but that's just the way i took it and i could be wrong. Anyway's i hope he kick's ass at Dirt Cup and then can hit the road back east right after that. The people back east will be in for a real treat when he get's out there to race. Hopefully someone will recognize he needs some extra sponsorship money and can help-out soon.

damn, he's get'in all the good sponsors. lol. don't worry faster, tim has both a sense of humor and a thicker skin than some. most of us know sarcasim when we hear it. even if we aren't sure if we can spell it. lmao. and you are correct that a lot of folks around here still remember the 7t as being a highlight in his career. don't forget the time in the 35 car that helped him cut his teeth.
