cruisin to Grand Cayman's & Jamaica I could'nt use my phone. Well Saturday morning the thing finally beeped, letting me know that I had messages. Not the ones I wanted to hear. I knew my mom was in the Hospital as I had visited her everyday for a week. With this trip coming up she told us to go & have fun. The last 2 days I seen her she was in good spirits, sounded good & even felt good. She passed away Thursday evening & I did'nt find out until Saturday morning. The Cruise line & the Air lines were very good in getting us home earlier than we were supposed to, about 6 hrs. For that I commend Carnival Cruise Lines & Delta Airlines. Needless to say it was a whirlwind of a day.

sorry you lost your mom while on vacation or even a cruise, that truly sucks. No easy time exists to lose a loved one. Hang tough dude!

I am very sad to hear of the mental trama one must go through when not present during the passing.
I was simply at supper when my Father breathed his last. I still have issues as to why I was not there to hold his hand during his last breath,
