Topic: I already hear rumors of another Victorvillle open.

So the rumor mill is churning already. I've heard that there is another Victorville open race being planned for late next month. I hope it's not a rumor. I haven't spoken to Cary yet, but if there is another one in the works, I AM THERE. Hell, I might even see if someone will let me drive a car for it. Hmmm.

Well May 17th as well as May 31st look like a good dates. The only series running are the VRA Senior Sprints on either of those nights at Ventura. Manzy, Santa Maria and Perris are not running sprint cars that night!

I will pay for the Buddy Pass fees if we can get Brad out again. I dont know what he has scheduled (where he will be that weekend and if there will be any open seats on the plane) but we can fly him in to Ontario Airport on Continental Airlines.

The only traditional dirt sprint car show anywhere on the west coast on May 31st is the Bandit show at Hanford. I will gladly drive past there on my way to Victorville that weekend!

We would gladly pick you up if we went through LA, but we go out through Bakersfield, 58 East to 395 South. You need to find a way to get there next month, you wont regret it.

I havn't heard anybody mention this, but watching the video, the
track configuratioin along with the racing action kinda reminds me of
the short tracks back east. Not too many short tracks out here on the
west coast that are as wide or fast as Victorville.
I went to the track twice in 2003, and seeing the video, they really have changed the track quite a bit.
If the May 31st date holds, I should be coming...can't wait.

Right you are,alot of dirtwork and a major increase in banking. I drove it in 2003 and last year and it's a totally different track to run.I kind of smiled when some clown[in another post] mentioned the track was to fast in the high groove.Look at the video,3 wide coming out of 2 almost every lap of the main.Smooth and no major rutting throughout the night.Faas and Gardner put up the money and the track operator got the track right.What more could we ask for.....and now their going to do it one more time for us....5/31

I wish! Hell, I've just entered my busy season here at work. I have to slam a ton of business between now and August to make all the Sprint Bandit 410 shows. I trust you all will have a good time w/o me (as much as I hate to admit that)
