Well folks, I have yet to hear anyone say they didin't like the show the Cary Faas and Jack Gardner Jr put on.
I loved it. Not only was the racing great all night, it brought out some old friends.
Biker Bruce Fischer was there and smiling the whole time. His best quote was,"Dude, this is just what sprint car racing needed. A truely 'fun' race."
Some other old dude said, "Damn, I almost wet myself when the first car came out without mufflers."
Oh, and who could forget, "That's a chick in the 3X?? That's hot"!
One of the coolest things was hanging with Brad Doty. There are so many things to say about Brad, but the one thing that blew me away was how much of a race fan he is. He was getting all excited during the races. That was cool.
And what the heck is up with Cody Williams. That kid was driving like he has been doing this for years. I was impressed. I walked up to Rip after the races and said, "I am impresed Rip, Cody is awsome" His response was to turn with a huge fathers pride smile and say" He impresses me every time he goes out. Kid can drive."
The show was great. I am sure the next one will be tweeked here and there, but the first one was great. For those that didn't make it, you missed a great show.
Cary and Jack jr, Congratulations guys. I, along with a bunch of others hope you do this again.

I have been to Perris, Ventura , and Santa Maria a lot the last few years. This was as good as, or better than the best show from all three. If there is another race, all my friends and I are sure to be there. Sprint Car racing is becoming fun again.......

I have all the Perris dates and have made my plans but would like to know when Cary is going to do this again so I can make plans. No doubt they made a ton of money, when is the next race?

It was great meeting everyone I hadnt seen in years, meeting new friends and spending some time getting to know people that you only know by a message board ID for the first time.
Brad seems to have the enthusiasm of a little kid in a candy store everytime he is at a non-wing show. Like I said earlier, a classy person as anyone can hope to meet! Even when I told him I hated Wings Cars but he was my favorite of all of them it brought a big smile to his face!
I hope that they do this again and again!
Joe

It was both fun and exciting. I really enjoyed the program. Wish it was warmer though. Hope they do it again.
