While it seems that many dont feel overly excited about saturdays GSC race at Antioch, some of us look forward to an event that is close to home. Just wondering how many fans from the Chico area might travel a few hours for a race?
fast time- BK
main event- TK needs a win before heading east

In no order, Mike Henry, Bud Kaeding, Jim Skinner on the podium.

I live in Martinez and will be there to enjoy the racing and take advantage of the short drive.

Concord here.. Antioch is hit or miss, saw a good show there last year. It's sprint cars on dirt how bad could it really be?? the 15 minute drive home afterwards is always nice

Sure Antioch isn't my favorite track, but it is still a dirt track that the GSC races on so I go whenever there is a race. It is also close to where my dad lives so I love a short drive home. I agree that TK needs a win before going on the road with the Outlaws! Let's hope for some good, clean racing
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!

Well I must admit I like the drive its about 2 minutes for me I mean I could walk home if needed not that I could get that drunk there considering the beer lines are usaly about an half hour either I get drunk or I watch the race, I can drink at home. so as for the pics, B.K. Statler and T.K....
see ya there!!!!

I was there last week for the Salute to Kellen Chadwick UMP Modified race and they have a new surface which seemed pretty good and held up remarkably well for the first race on it. Should be a good surface for the GSC guys.

A few years back (OK, 97-98) my Brother in law and I went to a couple of NARC shows there in July - August, and we live in Reno (were we F---ing nuts?) and they were decent shows. Athough I haven't been there for a few years, I would still drive there if they had a two-day event. (OK, maybe not in the middle of Summer) LOL! As for picks, I think TK will go two in a row after last night in Chico, podiums for Statler and Walker........

Well I did get that Suggs won his heat so obviously no Kaedings were in that race (after last night, thank god!)
