How about Cary Faas & Jack Gardner doing Victorville April 19th.
Open Tire rules, must run what you start on all night.
Open engine limits.
360 steel blocks and under can run M5VP 5% fuel.
No head restraints required.
No Cockpit adjustable shocks. Can be mounted outside of cockpit and away from drivers hands. Crew guys can adjust if mounted else where.
3 point nerfs
No Mufflers
This is an attempt to bring the fun back Cary said. If this goes well there will be more this year.
Rules will be up on CaryFaasRacing.com in the next 2-3 days.
No radios
No drivers under 18.
D.O. Laycock
Good Luck Boys.

I love that announcement poster too.
Thanks for doing this Cary and Jack. I am really excited about this show. For those who have not been there, Victorville is a very racy 3/8 mile track for sprint cars, wide on wide, and this has the potential to be a real fun deal. I hope everybody shows to support this.
I read a post on another thread where there was a photo of a late 70's early 80's sprint car. The post was nostalgic. The photo, looked at the low digit racer standing next to his race car, straight pipes and all. To paraphrase the post said something like; "Oh, the good old days, that it could be like that again.". Well here it is. And whodathunk it would ever come again? Now that USAC has disappointed racers and fans, WOO has become like NASCAR and is often little more than a very expensive weekly game of follow the leader and a 150 mile per hour parade, here are the new outlaws, riding into a town near you.
"Badge$? We don't need no stinking badges!"
I'll see you there.

Right on, No battle bars, no BS. I am all for taking the bars off, but that's me.
This will be a blast. I wonder if I can still fit in my driving suit??

If you've never run nitro before, you might want to talk to your engine guy about how NOT to blow it up.

Undefeated,
Maybe you could lend Alex one of your spare driving suits since you guys are about the same size now, lol!
Cary,
Make sure to make plenty of XL T-Shirts. I will try to get over to the races from AZ but if I dont drop off a couple over at Dave Miller's shop for me and let me know what I owe you the next time you stop by there!
