Who is tired of sprint cars not being able to finish a race with out a fuel stop? At the Trophy Cup there will be a red flag fuel stop if they run 35 green flag laps. What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!! They can't run 14 miles without a stop. Take of the damn midget tank and put on a sprint tank and fill it up. This is ridiculous never used to be this way.

Two options:
Take the time to grab a beer or stay home

otion 2: the powers that be mandate the old tank capacities. That dog aint gonna hunt.
Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool,
but then I'm not 16 so therefore my opinion is of no

Al's opinion on this topic doesn't really count though....it nearly takes an act of GOD to get his ass to travel more than 20 miles to a race. He's gotta plan pretty far ahead too given how slow he drives!......... :-).....

easy for an old drunk in the grandstand to say.
How bout the newbies who won't be bacl because they didn't get value for their money.
They may have never even had a chance to be a fan.
A simple Nationwide rule of no reds for fuel will fix the problem as long as everybody is treated the same.
No need to kiss a racers ass because he was too stupid to put fuel in his race car.

"Hazel, wanna go to the sprint car races tomorrow night"?.........."Na George, ya know it was pretty boring last week with that fuel stop. It just ruined the whole thing for me......let's stay home and invite Duane over, he is always entertaining.......maybe when they require Silver Crown tanks I will go back"

I almost agree with this, it just needs a few small edits....

will go back"
Now, with me being a fan for 35 years since the Tully road days, I go to the races regardless of weather, fuel stops, cost, etc....BUT...there's an aweful lot of grey hair in the stands these days. Fans just being introduced to the sport have less patience for fuel stops than us "true fans" do. Ever see how many people leave on a red flag for fuel? Think those people are going to be anxious to come back next time?

This is exactly the point I was trying to make.
Us grey hairs will tolerate anything, what about the the fact that we will be dead in a few years, WHO will take us old farts place?

What's worse than a red flag fuel stop?
