Can someone explain how you qualify to the dash for a GSC race? Is it a top two finish in the heat like the WOO?

Oakland Sprint Fan- I thought you would be at the races tonight? What races do you go to? You should come by and said hi sometime to the Hoser group- there are a nice group of folks 
I think you have to qualify in the top 10 and then get a top 4 in your heat race to make the dash, but I could be wrong.
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!

I, guessing its top 2 from the 4 heats, lined up by time.
Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool,
but then I'm not 16 so therefore my opinion is of no
consequence...

The top 8 qualifiers that make it out of the heat. Tonight Meyers and T. Kaeding qualified thru their heats but they were penalized because of the noise infraction. I believe thats right.

I have napcar at Bristol next weekend so I didn't want to push it with the wife. I usually stay around the bay area at Petaluma, Antioch, Stoga and Ocean. It looks to be a strong year for the GSC with many new teams.
Coming up:

The weather looks pretty bad. I can't beleive Nascrap moved the race to the middle of March!
