What's up with having to sign up and retain yet another user name and password? I thought it was supposed to be a free streaming webcast and I listen to them all the time without having to register. I've been on the internet since 1996 so I have a notebook of passwords an inch thick that's hard enough to keep track of. A message board is one thing where visitors post their opinions but signing up to listen to a webcast when there's no interaction on the part of the listener?
Thumbs down on that one. I don't need to hear the audio that bad, I'll read the results on the web tomorrow. I'm shutting down the PC and watching TV in protest.

I listen to countless streaming webcasts with much bigger market shares that dirt track racing and those don't require registration. I can't understand why streaming sites for a niche sport like dirt track racing would need to trouble their listeners to sign up when bigger outlets do not. The only possible reason I can think of is that their statistical software isn't sophisticated enough to provide the marketing data their advertisers require. In that case they should upgrade their stats software and not throw the burden back on the listener.
Explain to me how a major market share radio station like kqrs.com can allow me to click on the link to listen live but I have to sign up for a lil' ol' dirt track in the middle of nowhere. Or why all the dirt track streaming webcasts used to not require registration to listen but this year many of them do?
I applaud the American Dirt Network for not requiring registration. Many of the streaming broadcasts on track sites are still registration free as well. Like I said, it's one thing with a message board where people can interact but streaming broadcasts should not require registration.
