personally, other than Shawn McDonald, I can not think of more deserving people to be inducted.
Some day they will have a group for Shawn to be in, but Super fans are not in YET.

Congrats to JP & BK. Well deserved honors. This along with the induction of Jimmy Sills a few years ago makes it seem that the folks in Knoxville are starting to see that there is something of value going on out here on the left coast.

Congrats to BK and John Padjen! These two men have done soo many great things for California sprint car racing for many years and without them sprint car racing wouldn't be the same. It's also great they will be inducted at the same time.
I can think of some "greatest fans" nominees as well
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!

I don't mean to stir anything up, but Knoixville does NOT choose who to induct.
This is a nomination, voting process accomplished by a panel of voters from all over the country.
The nominations are accepted at the Hall of Fame.
One nomination recomendation per driver is the limit allowed, so whoever writes it, be sure to give a good resume'
I think California is well represented over the years, but being the local hero does not automatically get a person inshrined in the HoF, or I would be inducted (lol lol lol)

Best seat in the house is 2nd floor HoF tickets.
MANY of the inductees, both past and present are there for the weekend.
The open room set up is awsome.
Tickets are sort of hard to come by, (I am sure JP can get them)
Hall of Fame weekend is the best weekend at the raceway all year, and this includes the Nationals.
Racing is secondary to the good times.

Congrats to the very deserving Doug Howells. Doug, of Fargo ND, and one of the sports all-time good guys, is still out there and winning with his grandson Lee Grosz at the wheel running the ASCS Plains series.
