Should we consider this http://www.napacountyfairgrounds.com/speedway.htm a work in progress? One look and you will see the need for the question. I'm asking the question seriously since everybody I have asked either doesn't know what is going on or is pretending not to know. I guess my efforts to keep their identity a secret wasn't good enough. It is a small town :-)......

I think the pictures are right off a google search of sprint cars! The only recognisable car is the 7 of Craig Dollansky. It also use to say the track was an "excersize track." I met this weird lady who lives in Calistoga and she said" I hate those things that make all that noise and they race every weekend until late at night" lol! I felt like saying well the track was there before you were, move if it don't like it- ha ha! I can say that the shop owners do love the business the track brings and we also make an effort to support the local delicatessen and the candy shop every time we go to the races.

Kelly, Kelly, Kelly.......I'll cut you some slack due to your current "delicate" ( :-) ) condition but poor web design aside take another look and look closely at the schedule dates. If it helps go to the current 2008 GSC schedule at www.johnpadjenmotorsports.com for reference. That is my current quandary. Other than that: When is the baby due? (I keep forgetting)

Screw That! It'll be at Benson's so we'll still be in Calistoga. He's got a nice new flat panel to watch the 500 on. And, yes, admission will be free :-).....

It would seem that the important point is not the unrelated pictures but the fact that the only races scheduled are two Civil War and one tentative USAC race. It looks like one of the pictures is from a video game and another has a copyright symbol in the middle of it. Funny.

Yeah I guess I am thinking a little silly these days and not noticing the obvious stuff. I am due on February 1st, but I would like to have her earlier because it feels like I have been pregnant forever. I sure hope Calistoga will still have a GSC race in addition to Civil War and the non-wing race.

Robbie - Anything happening at Silver Dollar on Memorial Weekend? I find myself with nothing to do on that weekend for the first time since 1993

Well, we should have a party, huh? Not that we need a reason, but that sounds perfect.

Hey John, what's your relocation status? Glad to see you're still around.

How's the new company going?

That sounds like a good plan Robbie. Chico is were I will be that weekend then.

Top - the house goes on the market Monday. just keeping our fingers crossed. Are you looking for a house in Fairfield?

SprintCar PR is going. Slow but sure. Things will be picking up I am sure in a couple weeks in Florida. I am in the process of adding Steve Lamothe to the photographer section. There is also an update coming up later this spring that will make it more user friendly.

I also just ordered a new lens (amoung other things) specifically for places like Chico. I should be able to get some cool angles with it.

don't feel bad Kelly I only recognized three of the cars.

On those dates in May 31 has Sprint Mania - USAC Sprints, NCMA Sprints, Ford Focus Midgets, WSRA at the All American Speedway in Roseville. Its always another option. Wanted to get to the pavement race here at Roseville last year and missed it, might make this years if Calistoga only has the one day show.
