Between the WG forum, Hosehead form & motorsportsemployment.com ad where it all started we received over 20 applications.

We filled the position with a young man from California.
He was introduced to us via e-mail & a great recommendation by Gary Costa, Motorsports Media,FlatOut Magazine,HoseHeads.com.
"If the mechanic position is not filled, I know the perfect guy. He's hardworking and self motivated. It's his dream to be on a WoO team. He's 21-years-old, has a Class-A, and a CLEAN DMV. He's been working on race cars since he was a kid. The last 3 years, he's been working on Winged and Non-Winged Sprint cars out here in California. I highly recommend him."

It was great to see so many young people with the burning desire to be involved it sprint car racing.
We found young mechanics that have been involved in racing & working at the shop & in the pits since the 1st day they could sneak in. Many reminded me of how Randy Wolfe started out in the 70's with Lee Osborn & that what ever it takes to race attitute.
