I too am concerned about Josh Howard. From previous experience - the sanctioning bodies will not follow up on their injured drivers, which I personally think is despicable. I will write his Mom, but all I have heard is that he had feeling in his arms and hands... still not much in his lower limbs. I really hope and pray that this fine and fun young man can pull through this. Rehab can do a lot of good.

sh Howard Recovery Fund Established
TULSA, Okla. (October 31, 2007) – A recovery fund has been established for Byhalia, MS, racer Josh Howard, who was injured last Thursday night, October 25, during the opening night of the 20th Annual Short Track Nationals at Little Rock's I-30 Speedway.
Suffering a compression fracture of the C5 vertebrae, the 22-year-old underwent what was deemed a successful surgery early Saturday morning in a Little Rock hospital. Suffering a nicked spinal cord, it is still too soon to determine the full extent of Howard's injuries.
Regardless of the final outcome, Josh Howard faces a lengthy rehabilitation and recovery process, and with that will come continually mounting medical bills. Those wishing to contribute to the Josh Howard Recovery Fund may send their contributions to…

Saw a post on this forum the other day which stated someone talked to Jan and Jan said he is starting to eat good and has some "tingling" in his feet which is good news.
