Finally! www.racewayvideo.com is back hitting on all 8. Sorry it took so long to get ironed out. Thanks to Frank Bigham of VRAFAN.com for his help and also to Henry Clark of Asperisys Hosting for the great service.

Highlights are up from both features this past weekend at Ventura and Perris. Both Kittle and Gardner Motorsports sponsor this weeks “clips of the week”.

The poll I had up showed 90% saying to keep the clips long and high quality, so have at it!

Thanks
Jeff K

Jeff,

I finally got the chance to watch those highlights from Ventura that you were telling me about. It was amusing listening to you dub over everytime Naylor said "David Cardey" instead of "Scotty Weir". It sounded kinda WEIRd, but whatever...<vbg>

BTW, Jeff thanks as always for putting up your highlights. I know how much work goes into it, and how it's thankless job from "the powers that be", but I am grateful you take the time and effort to do so. I know I speak for the masses when I say, thank you.

And people, if you see something you like, please buy this man's work. I know that he, like myself, is not looking for a handout. He is just offering a service nobody else does. The way I see it, if you go ahead and buy one or two videos a year, you are paying the man something akin to a subscription fee to watch his highlights all season long. I don't think that's too much to ask. Just my opinion...

Sincerely,

Dean Mills

I used to be able to watch the highlights by clicking on the link. It would download the video and then I could watch it. Not when I click on the link it automatically opens up my MediaPlayer screen an error message pops up saying that I might not be connected to the server and/or my proxy settings maybe incorrect. This started happening about a couple of weeks ago. Any clue what might be wrong?

Thanks,

Joe

Joe have you tried it since Wednesday afternoon? I've had nothing but problems for about 2 weeks, but since Wednesday, hopefully it is back to normal. Please let me know if anyone is having problems now.

Deano, just trying to make light out of a situation.... thanks for the kudos

Joe,

try this.

Right click on the link for one of Jeff's videos. Then, depending on witch browser you are using, select "Save Link As" or "Save Target As" and then save the file to your computer. This should download the file directly to your computer. Then just double click on the file. It should open up and launch windows media player and begin playing. If that does not work try downloading the most recent version of Windows Media Player.

Jeff, clicked on the Sunday Perris link last night and it's back to the former d/load speed. Keep the video's as they are outstanding. Thanks for them, I just never get to Ventura or Perris often enough.

Raceway and VRAFAN,

For some reason I have to now use the Save Target but at least that works. Probably something with my computer.

Thanks,

Joe
