Where can I find it on an Android Box or can I?  Fairly new to it and it sure is confusing, looks great if I want to watch hockey or Soccer in Norway though.....

They do - channel 214. I'm just trying to figure out why I can't see in HD.

Larsonfan, go into MENU, click settings, go to favorite channels, then if you have a 'favorite' name, go to that or just 'channels you get'.  Then punch in 214 and it will come up and show as 2 channels.  Pick the HD one and click on it.  Make sure you click the box of the 'old' 214 so you stop the standard def 214 from showing on your guide.  You will need to reset your recordings for the new channel even though they are both listed as 214.  I've never seen 2 channels of the same channel before, usually it is a different number.

Just watched MavTV in HD on Directv.

There are two channels listed now - a regular one and an HD one.

Not sure why. But I love having MavTV in HD now on Directv.

A great big thank you to whoever made this possible.

Switch to Dish Network they got HD MAVTV>

Unless it's in the $50 a month, racetrack package...I do not see that Dish has MavTV.

Yeah, it’s odd. Usually you’d see a 214-1 or something.  I imagine the SD will drop off at some point.  I would say it’s only been up for 2-3 days.  I looked on Christmas Eve and it wasn’t like that.

As for Dish, pretty sure they dropped MAV

Thanks maddog, that worked. Amazing how used to hd you get, when you see a non hd channel, the difference is amazing.

We cut the cable two years ago and now get our TV through Roku devices cutting our expenses by a considerable amount.  Our first experience with cable dates back to the mid 80's and we have had both Dish and Direct TV satellite service over the years.  The downside of that is we still have to go through the cable company for our high speed internet so we paid to two separate companies until we dropped Direct TV and cut the cable.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  MAVTV coverage through the cable and satellite services is terrible.  The only option to get MAV where I live would be to double my expenses and go back to satellite TV.  Doubling the cost of my television services six months before I retire and lock into a fixed income ain't happening.

When MAV gets with the times and makes their programming available through streaming devices (Roku, etc.) I'll be the first in line to sign up.  I'm wondering how Lucas Oil TV can offer the channel through those devices and MAV can't.  Right now we're using the Direct TV Now subscription service on Roku for our cable channels but to my knowledge MAV is only available through their satellite service.

MAVTV is Lucas Oil TV, the exact same thing, same shows, you just watch the shows you want, when you want on your streaming device or computer ( I just hook up my laptop to my computer with a hdmi cord) and it even comes in HD. Just go to their website and take a look at what shows and what live races they have. In the first 2 months of the year they have the Chili Bowl finals and a bunch of Lucas Oil Late Model shows that pay for the year compared to buying the races just separetly. Also check out DIRTVision.com and watch most of the WoO Sprint races and some Late Models and Big Block Modifieds (just not live for free, but usually a couple of days later from 2017 back to 2005 and some classics for free) all you have to do is sign up (just like here) for free and there will be enough racing to watch for a very long time.

I just left a message with MAVTV management asking why they don't show more WOO weekly shows and more special shows.

MAVTV (which is owned by Lucas Oil and is the same as LucasOilRacing.tv) will not show more WoO races because they are in competion with them (WoO Sprints vs ASCS Lucas Oil Sprints and  WoO Late Models vs Lucas Oil Late Model Series).  To watch WoO sprints you have to go to DirtVision.com and sign up for free.  You have to pay for the live races but can watch them normally within a week for free.  They have most WoO Sprint races from 2017 back to 2005 and also some classics, some late models and big block modifieds.

Dirty bastards. I was just watching MAVTV a couple days ago. I read this post, so I go out to check my channels and see what is up. MAVTV is no longer part of my favorites, or one of my bookmarked channels. Not MAVTV, or MAVTV-HD. It was just gone. I had to go in, and manually re-add MAVTV-HD to my favorites, and bookmarks.

Long story short, if you have DirecTV, go check your favorites. I bet MAVTV is no longer there!

They're too busy showing demo derby, mudbogging, and sand drags.  ??????   I know those have a loyal following, but wouldn't you think the WOO would trump them all?  I'm with you.

It appears that Woo made a bad decision years ago that upset mr Lucas. There was a great woo sprint show at Wheatland,  shortly after that show Lucas decided to add more support to the chili bowl as part of that deal he also added much support to a s c s. When Lucas wanted to schedule another woo sprint show they insisted that Lucas add sponsorship to woo if he wanted a Saturday night woo sprint show again. Lucas responded with more support to a s c s and the Lucas late models. So woo management screwed themselves by trying to push the wrong guy

Finally somebody that knew what I meant by saying you will never see any WoO shows on MAVTV or Lucas Oil Racing TV (which are the same, except on Lucas Oil Racing TV you watch what you want when you want).
