Got to see Johnny run at Ardmore back on Memorial day weekend with the SST and still can get a car around the track and I remember Smiley Sitton talking about it being his 50th year racing during introductions, that is a long time ,ranks right up there with Dutch Ter Steege and Earnest Jennings out of OKC both who still run regularly.

Ed French was still racing a couple of years ago. He would come up and run the NCRA Sprints. But I haven't seen his name in any results anymore.

Warren, He is runnning the SST series 305 deal too, forgot to mention him, he was at Ardmore on Memorial day too.

I remember Ed would run with the Outlaws during the early 80's and their Sagebrush series swing througth Tx.,Okla.and Ks. and was at Bellville my one and only time to go up there and Ed ran a Big Block with those Zoomies headers on , it would definately ring your ears from in the center of the infield.

The 305's have a $2,000 to win at Hays, KS this weekend with the URSS http://www.unitedrebelsprintseries.com/

There's a 14 year old that has won 2 URSS races this year

I am looking for either Johnny's email if anyone knows it, or pictures of the tijuana taxi. My father had grown up around the car. Greg Lee built the car Johnny Suggs drove it to a track championship and many wins. I could be wrong on some of this information. My father tells me alot of stories about this car and suggs. Im pretty sure this car was pretty popular in its day. I have never seen a picture of it and dont know of any. It was raced in amarillo and other tracks around there. Im pretty sure my dad said the number was 10, but could be wrong about that to. I would love to find out any information about this car or maybe even get lucky to find out its were abouts. This was around 68,69 or 70 it was a super modified. Nathan
