My dad was a pit steward at Sooner Speedway just north of Sallisaw, Ok. on 59 hwy. He also had a race track in Roland Ok. called Sequoyah County speedway and was a flagman at Razorback speedway in Ft. Smith Ark. I am an artist and have a packet of pen-ink drawings of cars from Razorback, Thunderbird(Muskogee), Tulsa. I am looking for ANY photos from those tracks as well as Crawford County in Van Buren where I was born and grew up. The mid 60s early 70s had some GREAT racing at those tracks. I will send anyone my drawings for the asking. Also would love to find the track photogs who took the photos from those tracks or anyone who knows about all the drivers who raced there,i.e. where are they now?
