I Know this is a Sprint car sight but Eric was a very very nice guy and a great driver I think is sucks when a race car driver dies. These men and women strap in and give it their all for their love of speed and thank God they do because I for one love to watch racing. God Speed Eric

R.I.P. Eric,
Eric Medlen was starting to get into midgets with the likes of fellow NHRA Funny Car driver's Cruz Pedregon, Frank Pedregon, Ron Capps, and Gary Sczelzi. Rumor was that he was gonna race next years Chili Bowl.
