Hey it's like winning the Kings Royal without spending $250,000 to win it!!!!

it's aussie money so it's about 78,000 US dollars.

here's the press release:

A Holden Special Vehicles fanatic and racing car fan has become $100,000 richer when he was presented with a cheque from Gold Coast-based property developer No Limit Group.

As part of their sponsorship of the Supercheap Auto Racing (SCAR) Team in 2006, No Limit Group teamed up with Holden Special Vehicles in a $145,000 prize giveaway, with first prize being $100,000 cash from No Limit Group.

Stephen Vesperman, an illustrator from Newcastle, was announced as the winner in December and made the trip to the Gold Coast recently to collect his winnings.

Mr Vesperman who drives a HSV Grange entered the draw while checking out the latest E series models on the company’s website.

The lucky winner said he was in disbelief when V8 Supercar champion Greg Murphy called him at his home to announce his good fortune.

Mr Vesperman said although he recognised the V8 champ’s voice he thought it might have been a prank, and said it took the SCAR team driver a good 10 minutes to convince him of his win.

"No one rings to say you’ve won $100, 000,” said Mr Vesperman.

Mr Vesperman said he would be using his large cash bonus to become debt-free and put a deposit on a house.

“It is a second chance at getting ahead that I never expected to have,” said Mr Vesperman.

Upon presenting the cheque to Mr Vesperman, No Limit Financial Controller, Cameron Woods said he was pleased to see the money going to such a deserving recipient.

“We’re really pleased at the end result, and wish Stephen all the best.

“Our association with Supercheap Auto Racing and the V8 Supercar series in 2006 has successfully helped us to increase awareness of the No Limit Group.

“It’s great that through this process we are also able to extend such fantastic opportunities as this to fans of the V8s,” said Mr Woods.

You better start planning for a trip to the USA this summer. Start planning now, cause it will be here before you know it.

Its the off season here right now,yet I was off to the Indianapolis airport yesterday afternoon to pick up 3 friends from Australia. Two of em were from up near your way in Newcastle, and the other one bends bananas in Qld.

I knew they would try to lead me astray, and they did. After a 3pm pickup at the airport, then finding them some accomodation,it was off to Kellys Pub Too by 5PM for drinks, and something to eat. Just a short night there,we were home by 10! We did stop on for a quick look at Indy Screenprint just before we went to Kellys. One of the guys is buddys with them at the Screenprint shop, so it was cool to stop in for a look.

Dang Steveo, I won $10 in this weeks Lotto draw and only spent $6 to do it and I thought I was lucky, sheesh. See you at the Kings Royal this year or else, get in a little early for the Doty though and you can visit Stubb's, are you thirsty, lol. Take It Easy.....

Too late Mr Mac, I paid all my debts and now have a much smaller fortune but the ability to save a few grand a month instead of paying it out in bills, so I plan on building a bigger sum.

Oh yeah, we don't pay taxes on winnings here, so I get to keep the lot!!!
