Move to Indianapolis and start making friends. Look into a paid internship at the speedway or with USAC. OR - an unpaid one with a side job to pay the bills. Another thing you can do is beg, steel, or borrow ten minutes of Steve Lewis's time at Performance Racing Industry trade - the man is a class act and knows his stuff - and see what you can do to get a copy / subscription to that publication. If you can't just up and move to Indianapolis now make attending the 2007 PRI show an absolute priority.

Yes, I have looked into jobs at Indianapolis, but really nothing available at the track. I have thought about just picking up and either moving to Indy or Mooresville, NC. You say Steve Lewis with Performance Racing Industry would be who I should get in contact with? Do you not have to have connections into racing to get into the PRI show?

With minimal creativity you can get into the PRI show.
