With the Knox 360 Nationals just around the corner I am looking predictions for a winner on Saturday Night. I am also looking for your personal favorite, maybe not a driver with a great chance of winning but a driver who is a personal favorite. My picks are:

Safe Bet: Jason Johnson - Since mid June he has been getting better and better.

Long Shot: Matt Moro - Maybe shouldn't be considered a long shot, but gotta get behind a driver who drives hard irregardless of track conditions.

Long Shot if all goes well, Natalie, the most popular driver at Knoxville since Erin won the fans over.

Safe: The Fast Car

Long: The Slow Car

Now.................I don't know about that, jf. I have seen the fast car finish last in a race and a slow (slower anyway) car end up winning.

How about this then

Safe: The one that does his business before the race.

Long: The one that does his business after the race.

Thats how I bet at the Dog track.

Safe Pick: Wayne Johnson (tough choice between Wayne and Jason Johnson; Jason is hot, but Wayne has looked nearly perfect at times around Knoxville. With qualifying being key, I'll give Wayne the nod with more recent Knoxville qualifying experience)

Longshot: Kenny Adams (the guy really seems to be having a big year and already took down a bunch of big names to start off the year)

Favorite (who I'll be pulling for): Gary Wright (yeah, yeah... he's won everything. I still enjoy watching The Texan (can't believe a Sooner would say that) drive the #9 to the front). I'd also like to see Travis Rilat win the thing after the rough times the #29 team seems to be going through. Rilat seems like a cool dude!

Of course I would like nothing more than to see Natalie Sather win, but this isn't fantasy land... is it???

I have not seen Jack Dover's name on the list to date, but if Dover is in the line-up WATCH OUT! This may be the event he makes a big time name for himself.... that kid can drive!!!
