So, What Do We Canadians Have To Be Proud Of ?
2. Crispy Crunch, Coffee Crisp
3. The size of our footballs fields, one less down, and bigger balls.
4. Baseball is Canadian - First game June 4, 1838 - Ingersoll , ON
7. Basketball is Canadian
9. Mr. Dress-up beats Mr. Rogers
10. Tim Hortons beats Dunkin' Donuts
11. In the war of 1812, started by America , Canadians pushed the Americans back ...Past their White House'. Then we burned it...and most of Washington .. We got bored.. Because they ran away, so we came home and partied...Go figure.
12. Canada has the largest French population that never surrendered to Germany .
13. We have the largest English population that never ever surrendered or withdrew during any war to anyone, anywhere. EVER.
14. A Canadian invented Standard Time. 15. The Hudsons Bay Company once owned over 10% of the earth's surface and is still around as the world's oldest company.
16. We still know what to do with all the parts of a buffalo.
19. We invented ski-doos, jet-skis, Velcro, zippers, insulin, penicillin, zambonis, the telephone. And, short wave radios that save countless lives each year.
22. We ALL have frozen our tongues to something metal and lived to tell about it.
23. A Canadian invented Superman.
24. We have coloured money.
25. Our beer advertisements kick ass {Incidently...so does our beer}
The handles on our beer cases are big enough to fit your hands with mitts on.
Oh yeah... And our elections only take one day.
Pass this on if you are proud to be Canadian!

It's kinda Happy Birthday tongue in cheek style to you guys, we had one this week also although we don't celebrate them very much, arghhhhh. Not sure about that Buffalo deal either Roger, heck I know that wings were invented in Buffalo which is close but not quite Canadian. This is about as rowdy as we get up here with the Canada-US thing, sadly.
Have a great 4th of July everyone, have lotsa fun and bring it home safe! Take It Easy....,

Bob McBride made Lighthouse, saw them often back in the day, great band! Bill McCroskey asked me about Bob and Dave one time but like now I've never heard of them. The Ugly Ducklings and Motherlode along with Grant Smith and the Power were among my favorite all-time Canadian bands. Ahhhh, the good ol' days...... Take It Easy.....
PS We've produced a few funny guys over the years, Dan Ackroyd, John Candy, Phil Hartman, Norm MacDonald, Martin Short, Mike Myers, Leslie Nielson, Rick Moranis.....
PPS Raceway, that is a great perspective on Americans and America, the greatest country on the planet, bar none.....

Canada had over 65,000 soldiers die in WW1 and 11.
American Woman was more of an anti-war song than anything, especially anti-draft, something Canada didn't have. Canada did have over 10,000 people fight in Viet Nam though, none officially fighting for Canada. Bachman and Burton Cummings are playing here in a few weeks, should be fun.
Speaking of Green, I never did think Tom Green was funny but lots of you guys sure did, lol.

31. Bob McKenzie
32. Doug McKenzie
From the movie Strange Brew, starring Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas
They discovered a mouse in the last bottle of beer in their case, so went to the beer store and demanded a new case of beer. So didn't they invent "cold filtered beer" when the breweries started filtering beer to keep the mice out of the bottles?
