Showtime V. Handsome Hanson or Rowdy V. Junior again. Checking Jeff's terrific video, I saw no contact between the two. So what was Hanson so PO'd about? Sheridan was so hot last night nobody could have beat him. When Sheridan stepped into Rick Hendrix's other car at Ventura a few weeks ago and went out and won the feature I said to myself watch this guy he just might win the championship. Last week he won the feature at Santa Maria. I would like to get a Showtime decal for my car and put it next to my Super Rickie decal and my Ralphie decal. BTW somebody was spreading a rumor at the PAS parking lot bench racing liars club that Rickie would not be racing next year. Rickie's beautiful wife promptly squelched that rumor from her post in the shaved ice stand. She said Rickie has a bad arm but is okay and will run next year. I heard of a video on U-tube of Rickie testing his off road car. Will have to check it out. Don't remember who was preparing the car for Rickie, but maybe somebody will fill us in. Further tidbits from the parking lot: Ron Shipley might come on the 24th if he feels up to it: Carl may grace us with his presence if his lovely girl friend will let him: all hands are eagerly looking forward to V'ville on the 31st, your ediror included: Jerry Miller wants a sign on the walkway like Ralphies showing his section because we have the world famous Don Zhiel (sic) former car owner in that section. What a terrific nite of racing, enjoyed the lighting sprints and that guy in the 9 car is terrific. Talked to him after and he said he would like to run a sprint car next year. Great future for this guy! Going to Jimmy's seaside racing emporium next week for the midgets but can't wait for the 24th for the race at the most exciting race track in the world. Yeah Ascot was great but Perris is the best.

So what exactly did Hanson say following the race? I heard/read somewhere that the PAS crowd booed the young driver during his interview following the race. Inquiring minds want to know. :)

Leave it to me to miss this exciting race and congrats to "Showtime".

BTW has anyone noticed the terrific job that Seth Wilson has been doing this year? He was spectacular at Victorville and a top five last night at the PAS. Great work by the up and coming Seth Wilson.

Ditto to the Seth Wilson sentiment. I just watched the video and noticed that he looked damn good. LOL, like I said after the Victorville race, the man gets a new paint job and he goes out and kicks butt. Maybe that's all he needed, that other paint job was looking tired. Seriously though, Seth Wilson is quickly becoming one of my favorites. As far as the "Showtime" vs. Hanson incident, all I can say is that it does not surprise me. It did not look like Sheridan did anything wrong to me, but what do I know. However, I would be interested to hear what Hanson had to say over the PA and to Sheridan. Yes Mr. Tripcrwn, we did pick a bad week to miss. Oh well, I understand.

All of the above, except I was there. Sheriden put it cleanly in front of Hansen, and after he did, Hansen couldn't have caught him with a lasso. Truly a great race for Showtime. Hansen will have plenty of opportunities to return the favor, if he can. No harm no foul in my eyes. And, good on ya Wilson.

Ive been a Sheridan critic in the past. I just watched the video, thats as clean of a slide job as ive ever seen. Hansen had two options, brake or try to go under Sheridan. Neither was a decision he wanted to have to make but thats how it goes. Nice run Danny. Better luck next time Garrett mate. Great racing from where im sitting...

I told my friend Rick, that was bummed that Danny didnt transfer out of his heat, not to worry it was just going to make for a more exciting A-Main! We sure weren't disappointed! By the way, thank God that the ruptured tank didnt also include the car getting upside down! He was one lucky person!
