I'm running an upright mini sprint on a tight 1/4 mile track. I'm currently using 8.5 inches of stagger. The car is tight on entry, especially if I'm running in traffic or if I have to roll out of the throttle early. At first I thought the right rear was sticking too hard, so I moved the RR out and raised the air pressure, etc. When I moved the right rear out, the car was still too tight; I would force the car to turn with the brake or would start rotating the car before I rolled out of the throttle; When the car finally rotates, then I lack side bite, in fact the car could spin real easy. A couple of weeks ago, I moved the left rear out away from the car and added some stagger. If helped...unfortunately the car is still too tight at entry. When I think of stagger I think of corner exit, not entry. Could a lack of stagger make the car stick hard at entry? Should I be running more stagger still?? I'm so confused. When I think of tight on entry, I usually focus on the RR, but now I'm convinced that the car is too tight on the left rear, that's why I'm still wondering; Do I have enough stagger? I've also taken weight out of the left rear and right front, hoping to free the car up more. Is it possible that with out the proper amount of stagger all the other adjustments are exempt. Help!
