The above car is CAE. If you are a legendary driver and you are close to this car, David Hessland(?) will have you autograph it!

Pat Pattersons 106 is in the rebuilding stages. This is what is known as an Okie Sprinter. This car is a George Bignotti style frame built by it's owner. I'm sorry, I can't remember his name at the moment.

This car is Flathead Ford powered. It came out of McCalister, very period correct complete with a bomber seat!

Randy Willinghams super. The pictures do not do it justice. It is every bit as good as it seems.

This car was from in town. It came from south of Wichita Falls but it is a jewell. It is period correct and that Flathead isn't your Grandads stocker! This is an old fashioned hot rod right down to the internals.

And of course my old tractor. I threw in a NOS Atlas Bucron which no one had seen in years! Couldn't get my coupe ready in time but I did get it running today! First time in 38 years!

We grew a little this year in car count when it comes to Vintage Racers. Inside there were few seats available as we got to sort through pictures, meet many we hadn't heard from in years. Wayne Cox even showed up for a time.

The above car was the Ed Silk midget. Offy powered and one of only three made. It planted the right rear so good, farmers may have wanted to use it in the fields! Ralph said it could be a little tempermental sometimes.
Lloyd Ruby found it hard to cross the room because the autograph seekers were busy as usual. Sherman and Thurman French showed up. James Skinner, Steve Young, Don Phelan, Gilbert Hudson and many others who have racked up feature wins no one can take away were there.

For next year there are at least 3 or more cars being prepared. The movement is headed in the right direction.
SO, WHAT ABOUT WICHITA?

I agree with you. Actually there are a lot of problems with my theme here. Before there was even a whisper in the air about these events, I had a craving to just see a super. I was in the process of building this car for the street when 1 year ago I realized these old cars are coming back.
There's more wrong to this car than you think. It's a coilover, the frame was built in 1984 as a torsion car, the beautiful LIME GREEN seat, the '51 chevy truck front axle, the fake knockoffs, the turbo 350 transmission, open driveline, etc, etc etc....
This car was only brought in to show off the Edmunds style form. I have two more cars which are period correct and that's where the money is going right now. I'm going to keep this car as my freelance car, my own personal expression, because I NEVER STOPPED LOVING THESE CARS and I have 2 to do right.
I call it the "pushtruck" or maybe "tractor". I agree, the armguard has to go to the dump with the seat!
