If you don't like it, don't read it. I personally appreciate reading the results, and especially seeing the KELO replay of the race... I wish I still lived there to see the races in person, but making money takes a higher priority... just be lucky you have sprint cars to watch AT ALL and not be stuck with mods and late models as the big show.

As a guy who has a brother and dad in a Late Model, I resent that! LOL
But I see your point. I'm guessing you live in Fargo? Though I love the Late Models and Modifieds, I do miss seeing Sprint Cars out there weekly. I have a neighbor who races Sprints (Lee Grosz) - and am friends with a few former drivers. (Loren Langerud, Matt Folstad) - It is unfortunate that the Sprints were dropped from the weekly line-up, as I used to love when the Sioux Falls and Jackson cars would make the trip up. We had something special. I definately won't miss the ASCS Northern Plains race during the fair though. Can't wait!
One other rant. I am a little peeved at the way the Duel in the Dakotas has become. What was once a three day show at RRVS, which payed a pretty hefty purse, and drew a good field of WoO and 360 cars, has become pretty much a joke. While it is great that Grand Forks has a date, it is unfortunate it comes at the expense of Fargo. One night of racing! Pathetic!
I don't think it's SLS' fault at all. I have been to fair/racing meetings at Fargo, and from the way I understand it, the golddiggers that are the fair board, don't give SLS that great of a deal to rent the place. In fact, if SLS wouldn't have jumped up to the plate, there would've been no WoO show at RRVS. If you remember the winter of 2006, the fair board decided to drop the WoO date, but thanks to SLS, the WoO stayed. It is unfortunate to see what has become of Sprint Car racing in the Fargo area, and I hope things improve...
