The question for the day was about a champ car show at Williams Grove I thought Eddie  Leavitt won the last champ show at the Grove

1981 was the last USAC Silver Crown race held at Williams Grove.  Eddie Leavitt was the winner. There was a race scheduled in ’82 but was rained out.

when the ? of the day on hoseheads twitter from williams grove said roger ward in 1959, I thought that was wrong because I knew leaviit had won one in 80 or 81. I went back to USAC history and found the info you had here

Look at that field of drivers. Great racers from top to bottom. Damn, I miss those days of the Silver Crown series. Sure ain't the same now.
