Can anyone tell me how much weight it typically takes to balance a sprint car tire.  I borrowed a balancer from a friend and did a few tires and some of them are taking 4.5 oz of weights and I am wondering if this is correct.  I have tried mounting the same tire on different rims and it needs the same amount of weight so I know the wheels are straight and balanced.  thanks in advance for any help.
