Craig Dollansky and Ricky Logan both won the opening events on their month long tour of New Zealand.

Due to three separate meetings on the North Island on the same night the competition was really diluted, but most of the New Zealand top guns were in the Dollansky race at Western Springs in Auckland.

Jason Johnson took second in an eventful World Series race in Australia.

Full race reports are on Sprintcar Daily, as well as photo galleries of the Johnson and Dollansky meeting.

This coming weekend Dollansky and Logan are joined by Joey Saldana and Aussie hotshoe Robbie Farr, for the first of the international events at Western Springs. Farr has been just about on par with Brooke Tatnell and Jason Johnson over the many meetings these three have contested in World Series in Aussie over the last two to three years.

NOW FOR THE BIG NEWS!

You can watch this weekend's race in New Zealand live via pay per view, as well as the international meeting in Christchurch the following weekend when PCR track champion Trevor Green joins the fray, along with the best of the local New Zealand talent.

And that is not all. All three legs of the Midget World Series will be shown live (and on demand), as well as another three legs of the USA-NZ-AUS Midget Series. That is a total of 8 meetings (all the midget meetings will also feature sprintcars).

The company that does the cyber is one of the best in the business, having done tennis and other mainstream sports. I am told bandwith, graphics blah blah blah are all of the very best technology available. They guarantee a quality transmission.

I am told the sprintcar meetings will have FIVE camera angles, replays etc.

Details will be published in Sprintcar Daily within the next few hours.

Now dont say Sprintcar Daily does not support its Hosehead bretheren!
