just curious if anyone on here does the r/c racing in okc. i'm wanting to get into this hobby but not sure what classes they run. And are those 1/8 foreign jobber buggies on ebay worth a flip and would they be competitive?

Give Jerry Bruner a call. He lives in the city. 405 834 1835. His wife says that they spend more money racing those little cars than they do racing the big sprints. Its crazy.

I stopped by to see him a few month ago and he showed me all the stuff it takes to compete. Its insain. There may be a cheaper class to start out in for the money your wanting to spend.

It blew me away the money he spends. But he did say that he dont get his bell rung racing these things.

These are my new rides since I quit sprint car racing. Here is the place I race at every Saturday night if you are interested. It's the best place around, www.actionrc.com. If you have any questions email me. Jerry Bruner

There are two tracks on SE59. The one between Sheilds and Sante Fe is indoor and outdoor. The one between Eastern and Bryant is outdoor but don't know if they have an indoor.

Hey Jerry, tell James hello from Flash! He knows who I am, I built the outdoor drivers stand at Comp. RC. He & I used to have some pretty hot battles on the track.

Just noticed you said another place.......oh well lol

There is a new one in a strip mall on S.E. 29th just West of Vickie on the North hand side. Never been in there but it is always packed when I drive by..

Competition RC is good if you like driving electric toys on carpet, i personally think the electric toys belong at Christies toy box, i prefer the nitro burning buggys and truggys on dirt on a minature motocross track.
