I see there is a tentative WoO schedule available.

Will they be able to fit in a Cedar Lake show in on July 4th, with them running Husets on the 3rd? Also, isn't October a little late in the season for the Princeton show? Just wondering if anybody has any info on this.

Thanks,

StanM

Just the same information that you have and I agree with you. Cedar Lake booked NST last year for the Sprints and dumped Dirt Motorsports Late Model division in favor of making the USA Nationals an open show. There are some politics involved in that situation and quite honestly I don't know who they're going to book for their July Sprint special. My opinion is that a Monday night open show wouldn't work for 410 Sprint Cars in our area. Most of the IRA and Knoxville drivers work a regular job or have businesses to run during the week. No WoO drivers running for points are going to go run an open show. They're showing the July date on their schedule and I'm waiting to see what happens.

October is late in the year for Princeton so I don't know what I'm going to do about that one either. The last issue of Minnesota's Racing Connection goes to press on Labor Day weekend so I won't be representing MRC for that show. Pit passes are close to $100 and the second half of my property taxes are due on October 15 so there's a chance I could end up sitting that one out for the first time. I'm paying for the wife to go back to school and helping my daughter and granddaughter who are living with us while her husband is in Iraq so I'm going to be on a tight budget in 07. We'll worry about it when the time comes.
