Cool video Bruce! Man those cars looked like and probably weighed like a friggin tank! Dig the wings, small front wings, and huge tailtanks.

I pulled the build sheet and dyno sheet from Ted Lee's file from when Haud drove the 2 car back in 1987, and the engine made a whopping 665 horsepower!

Kelly,

From that build sheet can you run a quick tally to see if the parts today would cost less than the whopping horsepower you currently put out?

Scott, don't have price sheets from back then, BUT I do know that we were getting approximately $20,000 for a new 410 back then. Give or take $1,000

From our current price of $45,000 for a 410 with 870 horsepower to 1986 price of $20,000 for 665 horsepower, obvious math says it has cost $25,000 for 205 horsepower over 20 years............LOL

Those were Beautiful Cars and fast Shoes! Made a mistake compressing the video, came out half the size, so hard to even read the Car Numbers,so will

improve. The night time Race May be 1986,

and hope to have the full night Event sometime in the next 24 hours. Thank You!

Bruce

The good ol' days when you only needed two jobs to afford a race car instead of three.
