Warren , Now that is some good pics, The old Amarillo Speedbowl , with the famous backstretch dirt wall , seen it in several picks ,I remember back in 77 or 78 an NCRA there and Terry Uheling (spelled right) . drove the Carpenter #88 car then and he got into that wall and seemed it did not want to let him go all the way down the backstretch and he finally broke away from it only to flip over 1 time cause the whole RF of the car was bent or gone and it dug into the track and over he went. That famous dirt wall, always wondered how they kept it from eroding dirt onto the track heck it always looked the same everytime we went out there in the 70's and early 80's.
