With the announcements(not much of a surprise)by Kinser and Lasoski coming back in the "WoO" fold for '07,and some of you waiting with great anticipation for the "NST" to concede the end of its futile attempt to win the 410' war. I harken back to the very similar scenario in 1989, when the "USA" sprint series tried to fight the "WoO" and of course lost. One player in both of these splits was Steve Kinser. He ran away for so-called greener pastures, now twice. Its kind of come to a point that I don't give a damn what Steve Kinser does anymore. Granted he is "THE KING" but the throne has been seemingly vacated by Kinser twice now from the WoO, and now its "BIG NEWS" that he is coming back? Seems to me the "WoO" though not on the sturdiest of legs, has survived two defections from the "THE KING" and some of his followers just fine(TWICE). With or without them, the "WoO" weathered the storm and prevailed. If the "NST" survives the blow of losing its major drawing two-some,so be it. It all comes down to the fact that 410 winged sprint car racing doesn't need two "NATIONAL" series.

Lets get back to some degree of normalcy in 2007. Support your local tracks and buy a ticket when the big boys come to town. Then make sure you keep supporting the local tracks each and every week. Without a place to race - none of this would even matter.
Welcome back Steve and Danny. Best news I've heard all year!
