I'll be at Paducah for sure, but I'll only make it to Pevely if the University of North Dakota hockey team doesn't make it to the championship game. How nice of them to schedule the Frozen Four games this weekend in the same part of the country, eh?

We always refer to this as the winter race at Pevely. I guess we better bring plenty of firewood for the campfire. The Australian Sprint Car Fans of East Perry County will again be camped by the traffic light on the road to the pits.

Well, I grew up in Minot, so I'd say that's close enough, yah?

I think I've got the perfect weekend planned. Two hockey games on Thursday, a WoO race on Friday, and then I get to see either my Sioux in the championship or a WoO race on Saturday. Can't lose!

Duchess Jane--If something happens to cancel the WoO show in Paducah you might check out the Sprint Invaders ( 360's) that same night at Jacksonville, Il. Go WCHA-Go Sioux!! That's tough for a Badger fan to say, but I feel I need to support our league.

Badger Boy - I was at the Frozen Four games last year too, to see your boys take the win. It was pretty awesome and I learned a lot of new hockey cheers and jeers.

Also: It's always fun to watch a giant badger on ice skates.

I grew up near Minot too. Minot, Maine that is. Not to far from Canada either (Quebec) although I never went there.I did visit Canada to the East one time (New Brunswick) You can keep the pucks, and I'll be at both Paducah and Pevely this weekend.

Cold doesnt bother me any.

As long as it doesnt rain,it WILL be good Friday!

Hope you have some warm weather down there. Here in northern Illinois it's supposed to be 17 Saturday night. Even Rockford Speedway cancelled and they will usually race even if only 5 fans show up.

Oh man . . . . I haven't been to the Rockford Speedway in years (and it's only minutes from me). From what I remember though, they always raced, no matter how miserable it was.

I was just reading in the Rockford Register Star that they run a race called the Divorcee Derby, where ex-husbands and ex-wives are put into cars where the car # is the # of years they were married and they demo it out.

Now *that* might be worth heading back to the Rockford Speedway for!
