I think his traveling days may be over. He is good on some of the track east of the mississippi, but i do not think i will see him drive again unless he comes back out this way and i don`t think that is going to happen.

He was running the sprint car portion of the USAC Copper on Dirt show at Manzanita back in early February.

He ran with SCOA last year in his dads car 45x and I think he won the championship. Rickey Hood had been driving it and won some championships but was running the blk 33 last year. Johnny also has shown up for the Western and other races at Manzy and looks OK in a non wing car. I didn't see him listed in this years divers profile on SPRINT CAR OWNERS OF ARIZONA. He still wheels it pretty good. I saw him on a short track(Canyon) here in AZ last year with SCOA(wings) and he put on a good show.

I've seen his name in some of the ASCS Rocky Mountain region races........mostly at Aztec, NM. Think he runs just through Arizona and New Mexico.
